Good Morning, Goodnight
By Priscilla Curle Kendrick

Dawn breaks to natures rising sounds,
The morning sun slowly growing,
To meet the magic of the day.
Iridescent fish gliding and darting,
Whilst Dragon Flies flit over crystal streams glittering
in the magic of summer rays,
Welcoming the summer days.
Moss covered rocks in hues of green and brown,
Welcoming leaves fluttering down,
A carpet, a rustling crown.
Day slowly departs, shadows stretch,
As the day grows nigh,
Casting red and pink Kaleidoscopes in to the sky.
Echoes of sunshine almost gone,
Making way for night,
A rising moon, golden delight
