Mumble Jumble
by Helen Russell

I'm a Teddy in a jumble sale
Just waiting here until
Somebody comes to buy me
And I hope that someone will

Of course I'm rather dirty
And I've only got one ear
But they're only asking tenpence
And that's not very dear

My other ear's behind this stall
Which means, if you can sew
Then you could make me good as new
And nobody would know

You found me in a jumble sale.
And when I'm washed and clean
I'll be the smartest Teddy Bear
That you have ever seen

So if you need a Teddy
Remember that I'm here
And when you've paid your tenpence
Please don't forget my ear
