| Brought up in England
of Irish immigrant parents, Sheila maintains strong links with Ireland. Convent educated, she writes stories, monologues and poetry.
Retired from teaching, she is now involved in amateur dramatics.
At one time there were five teachers in her family.
Her work has been published in The Triumph Herald and Local
newspapers.
Sheila has also done a considerable amount of reading, of
both her own and other peoples work, for the AIRS (Access to Information and Reading
Service) project.
